ebike proposition replaced with Brightside Bike

Brightside has replaced its ebike proposition with Brightside Bike, a new online product with a four-point check at the point of call.

The new product is live on the CDL Strata platform, providing the ability to fully enriched MI at the point of call, via ID, fraud and claims history checks, and credit scoring.

Over 6000 customers are moving across to the new product, which has a panel of 18 insurer schemes, compared with just one scheme on ebike.

Russell Bence, Brightside Group’s managing director, volume lines said: “Brightside Bike joins our car and van products on CDL Strata as we continue our exciting transformation into a 21st century digital broker.

“This brings us closer to our panel and puts us at the forefront of data enrichment and delivering a fantastic level of insight for our insurer partners,” he added.

“For customers it means a simple end-to-end online customer journey that is intuitive, quick and simple.”

Customers can use Strata’s comprehensive online self-service portal, allowing them to access policy documents, make mid-term adjustments and accept renewals at any time – as well as getting quotes for other business lines.

The new product offers cover for trips around Europe, and companion riders, as standard, as well as cover for modified bikes.
