Intermediary Budget has revealed plans to employ up to 400 new staff when it opens a new contact centre in Sunderland.
Budget said the expansion is based on the continued growth of its affinity subsidiary Junction. Junction has already won several contracts, including a deal with National Australia Bank Group.
Budget's Group chief executive Peter Winslow said: "The opening of our new contact centre at Vantage House is a very exciting strategic development for Budget and demonstrates our confidence in our growing affinity business.
"It will cement our position as one of the UK's leading personal lines intermediaries, as well as allowing our existing and new Sunderland sales staff to enjoy greatly enhanced working conditions."
