Capita Insurance Services has announced details of a reorganisation plan to position the company for 2003.
The restructuring introduces a new operational framework that reflects the current climate of the insurance marketplace.
Under the management of operations director Bill Paton there will be three distinct divisions: claims services, outsourcing services and specialist services.
The claims services division will be split into two units: McLarens Technical Adjusting Services and Claims Management. McLarens Technical Adjusting Services will comprise complex and major loss, liability and technical property to create a concentrated focus on the technical skills within the business.
Specialist services will comprise legal cost auditing, legal and medical assistance and London Market services. A new outsourcing division has also been established.
Capita Insurance Services managing director Bill Dye said: "The operational reorganisation will provide Capita Insurance Services with the best means of delivering innovative solutions to our customers alongside the very highest levels of customer service.
"It reflects the changing needs of the insurance marketplace in the most effective and customer-focused way and will allow us to maximise the expertise we have built up within our diverse service offering.
"The restructure also sees the realisation of one of the goals we set out to achieve when we acquired McLarens Toplis and the Eastgate Group - to create a single, consolidated claims services division."
