First Assist sole underwriter for CBG travel scheme product

CBG Group has entered a two-year partnership with First Assist Insurance Services.

First Assist will continue to act as sole underwriter for CBG’s Fly-Sure Travel Scheme product, an annual multi-trip travel policy designed for airline staff and their families.

CBG Insurance Brokers director Pete Drummond said: “We’re delighted to have entered into this two-year deal with FirstAssist Insurance Services."

The policy gives cover for personal possessions and travel cancellation and includes free insurance for children under 16 when insured with an adult, medical expenses of up to £5m and personal liability cover of up to £2m.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
