Software house CDL has completed development work to ensure the compatibility of its newly launched CDL Strata software system with IBM hardware and software platforms.

The development further extends the suitability of the software solution for insurance intermediaries of all sizes.

“A major driver behind the development of Strata has been to ensure an open interface that will connect and integrate with an extensive range of other systems,” explained CDL business strategist, Nigel Phillips.

“We anticipate that the availability of Strata in an IBM environment will increase its attractiveness to a range of UK and worldwide insurance organisations.”

Developed as CDL's ‘next generation' solution, Strata is a multi-tier application using the Java 2 Enterprise Edition architecture which runs on a large variety of hardware.
