Standard & Poor's announced today that it is keeping the single-A insurer financial strength rating for CGU Courtage on CreditWatch with developing implications.
This follows CGNU's announcement yesterday that its French operation, CGU France, is selling its France-based general insurance business CGU Courtage to Groupama.
S&P said the rating would remain on CreditWatch until the transaction is completed.
