Rupert Robson to step in on 1 Nov

Charles Taylor Consulting, a provider of support services for the insurance sector, has announced the appointment of Rupert Robson as non-executive chairman with effect from 1 November 2007.

This appointment follows the previously notified intention of the company to split the roles of chairman and chief executive and to strengthen its Board.

From this date, John Rowe, currently chairman and chief executive, will step down as chairman, while continuing as chief executive. Alistair Groom and Joe Roach will also step down from their positions as deputy chairmen, whilst remaining on the Board and continuing with their current executive responsibilities.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
