Chaucer Insurance has signed a five-year licence...

Chaucer Insurance, a UK Lloyd's motor insurer, has signed a five-year licence agreement for ISO's Claims Outcome Advisor (COA) solution.

It is claimed that the first year of use yielded a 16% decrease in average year-on-year lower level personal injury claims settlement costs.

Chaucer claims director Nick Burnap said: "COA has already made a real difference to the way our company operates. In a year, it has enabled us to achieve a significant 16% decrease in our year-on-year lower level personal injury claims settlement costs - an accomplishment that made us extend our commitment to ISO and its COA solution.

"COA supplements our claims handlers' skills and knowledge bases, providing them with a good research and reference tool that enables us to have more detailed management information and therefore more efficient claims management processes," he said.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
