Lloyd's insurer's new division opened to brokers

Chaucer Syndicates last night launched its new international liability division in London.

The launch took place at The Tower Walkways above Tower Bridge.

The event was attended by over 200 London market brokers.

The team specialise in international liability business, in particular professional and general liability insurance, together with related classes, such as directors and officers and medical malpractice.

Mark Lawrence, head of international division for Chaucer Syndicate 1084 commented: “I would like to thank my market colleagues for their support and best wishes in setting up our new International liability division at Chaucer.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
