Chubb has launched Masterpro, a comprehensive cover aimed at advertisers, advertising agencies, broadcasters, publishers and video and film producers.

In a stamement the insurer said the policy features a ‘plug-in’ facility, enabling policyholders to modify the amount of cover they have depending on their needs. This includes Newsmedia and multimedia cover, subpoena defence costs, producers liability and internet liability.

The launch of MasterPro in the UK and Ireland also provides third party cover worldwide.

Ken Goldstein, Worldwide Media Liability Manager at Chubb Specialty Insurance said: “Media companies face a multitude of insurance issues and are constantly exposed to liability risks. We have recognised the gap in the market and remedied it with MasterPro.
