Insurer appoints development underwriter and appraisal manager.

Chubb Insurance has made two appointment to its personal lines division.

Chris Lewis joins the company as Personal Lines Development Underwriter for London, and Stephen Wilkinson as the UK and Ireland Appraisal Manager. Both appointments are with immediate effect.

Lewis has been with Chubb Insurance for eleven years, most recently as a senior underwriter.

In a statement the insurer said Lewis wouldl be a key member of the recently formed London Independent Broker Team under the management of Mike Smith. The team has 20 multi-disciplined underwriters and development underwriters who service the commercial and personal lines needs of over 100 independent brokers in the London area.

Wilkinson will be responsible for the UK-wide appraisal team. He has nine years experience of appraising for Chubb and, in addition to his new managerial role, will continue to play a key part in providing appraisal services for Chubb’s ultra high net worth clients.

Wilkinson will replace Michelle Connolly, who after 13 years with Chubb has left to set up an Appraisal consulting business.

With our continued expansion in the high and ultra high net worth markets they will be crucial in developing broker relationships and ensuring our appraisal service remains ahead of the rest.”
