Chubb will look to grow its new real estate industry practice over 2018

Chubb has launched a UK and Ireland real estate industry practice.

Chubb head of corporate division, UK&I Sara Mitchell said: “The launch of our new Real Estate Industry Practice demonstrates our commitment to further develop this key area of our business and to ensure that we build upon our offering. During 2018 we will be looking to expand the team further and to build additional capability to support our growth in this market.”

Karen Strong, who is head of industry practices at the insurer, will lead the practice. Strong already has responsibility for Chubb’s technology, life science, entertainment and clean technology practices.

A bespoke underwriting team will be led by Daniel Atkinson, who takes on the role of underwriting manager, real estate practice.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
