Chubb’s Chris Smith to stand in for Cage

Exit, sign, leave, quit, resign

Chubb Insurance underwriting manager Rob Cage has left the company to join Travelers as chief underwriting officer Europe.

Cage was the active underwriter of the Lloyd’s syndicate Chubb 1882.

Chubb 1882 chief operating officer Chris Smith has taken up Cage’s responsibilities until a new active underwriter is appointed.

Cage joined Chubb in June 2003 from the FSA.

A Chubb spokesman said: “Chubb wishes Rob every success in his new role, and thank him for his vital contribution to the set up of Chubb’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 1882.”
