Simon Mobey Chubb

Chubb Europe’s head of personal lines Simon Mobey is leaving the company.

He will be replaced by UK and Ireland distribution head Jeremy Miles who has been promoted to the role of senior vice president, personal risk services, Europe.

In his new role Miles will be responsible for Chubb’s high net worth personal lines business in Europe and its further expansion into new markets within the region.

Miles has 32 years of insurance industry experience, including over 20 at Chubb.

He will also join Chubb’s European executive committee and will report to executive vice president and chief business operations officer Jalil Rehman.

Rehman said: “Delivering a superior insurance proposition and exceptional claims service for our high net worth clients remain our top priorities and, under Jeremy’s leadership, this strategy remains in safe hands.

“Together with our highly experienced team of personal lines specialists, Jeremy will also ensure that we work even more closely with our broker partners to create new opportunities for mutual growth, including expansion into new markets such as Switzerland and Monaco.”
