A new internet-based loss adjuster, The Claims People, is set for a £4m floatation on the alternative investment stock market.

The Claims People is chaired up by ex-Pycraft & Arnold Holdings non executive director, John French. Chief executive is ex Cornhill chartered loss adjuster Barry Whyte, while ex-Eagle Star director David Croston is operations director.

In all, 50,625,000 shares will be issued at a value of 8p each. It plans to extend its services to approved repairers and replacement goods firms and extend its web portal.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
