Lloyd’s broker announces departure

Colemont Insurance Brokers chairman Jeremy Underwood will step down from the board of the Lloyd’s broker on 31 May 2012 after seven years.

“We are grateful of Jeremy’s contributions to the company and sincerely appreciate his guidance through what has been a period of considerable change within the company,” said M. Steven DeCarlo, chief executive of AmWINS Group, CIBL’s parent company.

Underwood joined Colemont Insurance Brokers, a start-up Lloyd’s broker, in 2005 and became chairman in 2010.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
