Casualty, small and medium enterprise (SME) business and commercial property are the classes of business that are key to broker satisfaction, according to a survey by Allianz Cornhill.

The insurer surveyed 215 commercial brokers across the country to assess their satisfaction. The responses showed that brokers base their satisfaction primarily on the responsiveness of insurers, such as how quickly and effectively issues are dealt with. Other important factors were the efficiency of insurers' claims handling, financial security and technical competency.
