The London Underwriting Centre (LUC) hosted a dare devil challenge set by the TV show Don't Try This At Home.

Contestant Duncan Jeffrey agreed to cross the LUC atrium on a rope ladder 200ft above the ground.

The show is designed to make contestants face their own fears in exciting ways. The challenge was set by Duncan's wife Emma.

Jake Atwell, associate producer of the TV show, said: “We were looking for a really spectacular location in London which had an atrium and we immediately thought of the LUC building.

“On the show the building looks amazing, like something out of a science fiction film. We really couldn't have got a better location.”

John Sprawson, managing director of the LUC, said: “It was one of the more unusual requests we have received, but the building is of such a spectacular design that it provided the perfect backdrop.”
