Alan Abel joins Cooper Gay from Aon
Cooper Gay has appointed Alan Abel as head of broking and director of its non-marine division.
Abel will co-ordinate and direct Cooper Gay’s specialist resources to improve the broker's international service.
He will report to Richard Mahoney, managing director of the non-marine division.
Abel joins from Aon, where he was an executive director.
Cooper Gay has created two positions within the non-marine property team and internally promoted two staff. Nicola Willis has been appointed head of central America and Peter Gale has become head of Caribbean.
Mahoney said: “Bringing Alan into the business and promoting Nicola and Peter will both strengthen our capabilities and heighten our market presence as we push for growth in 2011.”
