Self Assured Underwriting Agencies (SAU) has launched a new corporate travel scheme. Corporate Travel, underwritten at Lloyd's, offers up to £5m medical expenses, £2m personal liability, £3,000 employee replacement expenses and £5,000 cancellation and curtainment cover.

SAU spokesman David Storr said the cover was aimed at UK residents but SAU were able to offer terms to anyone “anywhere in the world”.

“To operate effectively in the corporate travel market, one needs to be highly flexible and offer a very speedy service,” Storr said.

“This ranges from providing cover yesterday for the forgetful chief executive of a plc to insuring 100 multinationals undertaking mine clearance.”

Corporate Travel is available only through brokers and independent financial advisers, who will take a 25% commission.
