The Countrywide network extends its Partner Broker initiative to cover commercial business

The Countrywide network has extended its Partner Broker initiative to cover commercial business.

The company said the move is in line with continuing demand from brokers.

Countrywide said Partner Broker Commercial offers a range of products that will cater for the majority of a broker’s customer portfolio including Commercial Combined, Packages, Property Owners, Liability and Fleet.

Mark Ryder, Open International commercial director, is confident that the launch of Partner Broker Commercial will drive further membership and demonstrate the network’s increasing influence on distribution.

He said: “Partner Broker is all about helping Countrywide members achieve more and develop their businesses. By offering preferred status arrangements across a panel of insurers for a relatively small minimum commitment we are helping brokers become more profitable.

“After just a few weeks we already have 20 brokers in the process of signing up to Partner Broker Commercial. Later in the year we will launch Partner Broker Motor and complete the proposition, providing Countrywide members with access to a comprehensive range of benefits, irrespective of any bias towards personal or commercial lines business.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
