Crawford & Company has won an exclusive contract to handle the overflow property claims for Halifax General Insurance Services, an arrangement which will run for a minimum of two years.
Crawford will work with Halifax's own loss adjusting facility, Halifax Claims @ Home.

Crawford said it won the contract on the basis of high quality and cost effective service despite stiff competition from other loss adjusting firms within the UK.
Halifax General Insurance Services is the household insurance arm of the Halifax, and has since its creation in 1997, has amassed a customer base of 2 million people.
