The appointment will be based in Bristol
Legal expenses insurer DAS has hired David Swigciski as head of corporate for the UK.
Swigciski joins DAS from RSA where he was UK SME trading director - responsible for all RSA’s e-traded commercial motor, property and liability business.
In his new role Swigciski will be based in Bristol and will report to DAS insurance managing director James Henderson.
He will be responsible for driving growth and helping the business realise its development plan.
Henderson said: “I am delighted to welcome David to the team as we continue to invest in talent and capability to drive the DAS UK & Ireland business forward.
“His skills and extensive experience in the industry and in particularly his knowledge of the SME market will be hugely valuable to us.”
Prior to RSA, Swigciski spent 14 years in the Royal Navy.
