DAS no longer supporting trade association, says chief Paul Asplin
DAS Legal Expenses is to withdraw its ABI membership because of a disagreement over the Jackson Review, Insurance Times can reveal.
Chief executive Paul Asplin said DAS is opposed to the Jackson Review, but the ABI was generally taking a ‘positive stance’.
Asplin said: “It’s not possible to support a trade association that is actively lobbying against our interests. The ABI understands there is no argument, it is just a withdrawal.”
