Mark Rhoder appointed to DAS top team
DAS Legal Expenses Insurance has appointed Mark Rhoder to its senior management team as head of ATE (after the event) and special risks.
Rhoder is currently the director responsible for LawAssist, the ATE intermediary acquired by the DAS Group in 2008.
He will oversee the sales and operations of 80e, LawAssist and Amicus Legal.
DAS chief executive Paul Asplin said: “Mark’s appointment reinforces our continued growth and development in the after the event market. He brings with him a wealth of experience which will prove invaluable in his new role.
“This new senior management position will help us to develop our ATE business, which now contributes some 25% of Group income, and strengthen our position as the UK’s leading expenses insurance company.
“In the sales area, Mark will work closely with Lyndon Willshire, who retains overall responsibility for sales development in the Group. Mark will coordinate all of our current ATE activities and will play a key role in introducing our new legal products which are to be sold via solicitors.”
