‘We are very excited about this expansion of the Aviva Private Clients business and look forward to trading with brokers in Lloyd’s over the coming months,’ says head
Aviva Private Clients (APC), the high net worth (HNW) business of insurer Aviva, has launched in the Lloyd’s market.
APC was launched on the Lloyd’s platform on a phased basis from 1 January 2026.
Premiums start at £25,000, with policies being made available in currencies including euros, US dollars, pounds and Swiss francs.

The firm said it will also make use of Aviva’s existing Lloyd’s platform to access new markets and territories, allowing customers to “safeguard their overseas exposures”.
Caroline Brown, global, national and Lloyd’s broker lead at Aviva, said: “The launch of APC in the Lloyd’s market, alongside Aviva’s existing HNW propositions, now means brokers have access to the full suite of home products across both platforms.
”This fully aligns with our ambition to provide comprehensive insurance solutions to suit the needs of all our customers.”
Broker opportunity
The firm also said that the new offering would create opportunities for brokers to deliver “bespoke insurance solutions for HNW clients looking to protect their property and assets, including in countries such as Switzerland and Monaco”.

Antony Dodson, GCS chief underwriting officer at Aviva and active underwriter for Syndicate 1492, said: “We are delighted to unlock further benefits of our Lloyd’s platform across Aviva, this time within the HNW space.
“By combining our in‑house capabilities with the strength of the Lloyd’s franchise, we are enhancing the APC proposition for our clients and broking partners, in line with our long‑term strategy of building a leading dual‑stamp insurer.”
