Third capacity provider for motor fleet MGA

Motor fleet managing general agent Direct Commercial has signed a new capacity arrangement with Great Lakes Reinsurance.

Direct Commercial already has capacity arrangements with Carraig and Lloyd’s syndicate Ascot. Its portfolio is mainly haulage, light haulage and courier.

It is also handles the administration of risks underwritten by Carraig.

Great Lakes is wholly owned by Munich Re and its financial strength is rated AA- by Standard & Poor’s.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
