NHS centres hope fee will deter fake claims
Sheffield doctors have started charging whiplash claimants for diagnoses after a spike in applicants.
Three doctors in the city have started charging claimants around £21 for diagnosis and treatment, according to the Mail Online.
The NHS centres hope that the fee will be enough to deter would-be chancers from bringing a fake or exaggerated claim.
These fees are rarely charged but are legal up to £21.30 under the road traffic act 1988.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
