The press machine surrounding the much trumpeted Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) finally hit the jackpot last week after the organisation was featured as part of a key storyline in the prime time TV show, The Bill.
Well known insurance scams such as ‘crash for cash’ and ‘car ringing’ were unearthed by the boys in blue in the ITV show with detectives praising the bureau for all its help in investigations.
With that kind of endorsement the bureau can only go from strength to strength – so lets hope that its next TV appearance is on Crimewatch.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
