DUAL hires A&H underwriter from AmTrust

Hyperion-owned underwriting agency DUAL has hired Richard MacNaughton as senior accident and health (A&H) underwriter.

He joins from fellow underwriting agency AmTrust Underwriting, where he was a senior personal accident and travel underwriter with responsibility for developing the A&H business.

AmTrust Underwriting writes business on behalf of AmTrust-owned Lloyd’s Syndicate 1206.

In his new role MacNaughton will work closely with DUAL European A&H division managing director Graham Sims, focusing on providing personal accident and travel solutions for businesses, non-profit organisations and affinity groups.

Sims said: “The appointment of an experienced A&H underwriter is another important step for us, as we continue to enhance our A&H offering in Europe.

“Richard brings significant underwriting experience to the team, and will work closely with partners and colleagues across our international offices to provide clients with access to our developing range of A&H solutions.”
