Karen Woodley joins Ellis Clowes

Ellis Clowes & Company has appointed Karen Woodley as commercial director of the group and board director of Ellis Clowes (Commercial).

Woodley joins the Lloyd’s broker from AXA PPP, where she was head of sales, handling the corporate side of the private medical division.

“We are delighted that Karen has agreed to join us,” Ellis Clowes & Co managing director Karen Ellis said. “She has a wealth of experience in sales and business development and at this stage in our growth we really require her strategic thinking to assist with the ambitious growth plans and targets we have set ourselves.”

The firm opened a Banbury office earlier this month.



 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
