Beazley underwriter Lewers joins Lloyd’s cover holder
Equinox Global has appointed Beazley Group’s Adrian Lewers as a non executive director with immediate effect.
Lewers has more than 22 years experience in underwriting and is currently head of the political and contingency group at Beazley in charge of an international team.
He previously worked at XL London Market Ltd and M E Brockbank.
Equinox Global chief executive Mike Holley (pictured above) said: “As the business continues to grow, having Adrian’s experience and industry understanding will be of great benefit to Equinox Global and to all our clients. One of the strengths of the business is the quality of our people and with that in mind we are delighted that Adrian has agreed to join the board.”

Equinox is a Lloyd’s cover holder specialising in trade credit insurance. Beazley acquired a 25% stake in Equinox in March 2012.
