Former Natixis and KPMG analyst joins London-based team

Michelle Barnes Equinox Global

Lloyd’s trade credit specialist Equinox Global has appointed Michelle Barnes as a new senior credit analyst.

Barnes previously managed a global credit portfolio at Natixis SA in London for four years. Prior to this she was a restructuring credit analyst at KPMG. Michelle has also worked as a senior underwriter at Euler Hermes UK and at Trade Underwriters Agency.

Equinox Global chief executive Mike Holley said: “We are very pleased that Michelle has joined the team. Michelle brings a wealth of experience and understanding and has already proved to be a great benefit to the business.”

He added: “With bank lending to businesses still suffering, many companies are utilising the opportunities offered by the trade credit industry.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
