September 11 fund repeat means AIG needs new scrutiny

Kenneth Feinberg will step down from his role as the US Treasury's pay czar setting top AIG execs pay to focus on administering the BP’s $20bn oil spill fund, Reuters reports.

Feinberg was best known for dispensing hundreds of millions of dollars to families of victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
