Fitch Ratings has assigned the Society of Lloyd's a long term rating of ‘A' and an expected rating of ‘BBB+' to the subordinated debt announced by Lloyd's this morning.
Both ratings have a stable outlook.
The proceeds of the debt will be used to enhance Lloyd's central assets for solvency purposes.
The rating of the subordinated notes is contingent upon receipt of final documentation conforming to information already received.
