Loss adjuster GAB Robins reopens Leeds branch

GAB Robins today will reopen an office in Leeds effective 1st February 2010.

The office will initially operate with a team of 14 staff comprising of personal and commercial property adjusters and provide services covering major loss, casualty, subsidence and surveying.

The move follows the appointment of a number of former Teceris staff based in the locality including, Steve Convery, who will lead the major loss team.

Kieran Rigby, chief executive of GAB Robins, said: “A huge proportion of the claims we handle are inter-mediated and, whilst we never left Leeds, we felt we needed a physical office presence to help underline our commitment to this vibrant broker and insurer market.”

The Company’s last office in the city closed in 2005 when the property’s lease expired, coinciding with the company moving to a remote working model.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
