Garwyn has announced the appointment of Michael Robinson as a liability adjuster to its Chester team.

Robinson, who has more than 20 years experience of liability claims, having worked for both defendant and claimant solicitors, is the first in a number of new appointments by the company designed to boost the strength of its core liability adjusting skills across its national branch network.

He joins Garwyn from UK general insurance, having previously been employed as the litigation manager at Greater Manchester Police and the head of the emergency services unit at Gallagher Bassett UK.

Daniel Grewal-Singh has been appointed to Garwyn’s industry-leading disease and illness unit in Birmingham as a disease claims adjuster. He joins Garwyn from the Zurich disease team.

Garwyn chief executive Artur Niemczewski (pictured) said: “We are not only strengthening our branch network with offices opening in key commercial hubs but we are expanding our teams with new talent and expertise to enhance our services nationwide. Michael and Daniel both bring valuable skills which will be utilised to the full in their new roles.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
