Broker continues growth in the region.

Giles Insurance Brokers has completed its sixth acquisition in Wales in the last 12 months.

The latest acquisition is Penarth-based NG Insurance which focuses on commercial, financial risk protection and personal insurance.

The number of staff employed by Giles in South Wales now totals around 80, with more recruitment expected in the coming months to strengthen its Talbot Green-based regional claims department.

Giles initially entered the Welsh market with the acquisition of Tonyrefail-based Hedges & Rose November 2007. Since then the Group has successfully completed the acquisition of DS Howell, AGM Insurance, Paul Murphy Insurance Services and Hancock General Insurance.
