The Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) has appointed David Gittings to replace Simon Sperryn as its chief executive.
Gittings will leave Wellington Underwriting, as group head of risk, to take up the post on 2 January.
He will concentrate on developing a more proactive focus for the LMA through the alignment of the needs of managing agents and the franchisor.
