Glencairn has announced the acquisition of IoRisk Solutions, the company that was established in 2001 under an umbrella arrangement with independent Lloyd's broker Holman's.
IoRisk Solutions founder Mark Ter Haar has joined Glencairn as business development director.
He will work closely with all Glencairn's business units with an emphasis on developing its major client book. In particular he will focus on providing risk solutions and retail support for global Fortune 500 clients.
IoRisk Solutions specialises in global corporate clients with a particular focus on oil, petrochemical and heavy industries. The transaction comprises the company and global business and includes the entire team.
