Winterthur
Phillippe Egger has been appointed as head of non-life of Winterthur.
He joins from Basler Versicherungs-Gesellschaft, where he was a member of the executive board.
AIG Europe (UK)
AIG Europe (UK) has appointed Neil Ross as vice president for trade credit. He will be responsible for managing the trade credit portfolio for the UK and continental Europe.
Ross has worked in the field of trade credit insurance underwriting for a number of years. He joined AIG Europe in 2000 where his previous role was the trade credit e-commerce manager in the UK.
Prior to that he was with the Hiscox syndicate in Lloyds, where he worked for six years as lead underwriter for Trade Credit.
Amlin
Amlin Underwriting has recruited wordings technicians Michael Davidson and Danny Clarke.
Davidson joins Amlin from Benfield Group with 12 years experience in aviation policy wordings.
Clarke joins Amlin from Denis M Clayton with 22 years' experience as a wordings technician, covering a wide range of insurance and reinsurance classes.
Endurance Speciality Insurance
Endurance Speciality Insurance has appointed William Fawcett as senior vice president, head of claims.
He has more than 15 years' technical insurance and reinsurance claims handling experience.
He has worked as a trial attorney at law firms Anderson, Parkinson, Weinberg & Miller and Bromley, Brown & Walsh. Before joining Endurance, he was deputy general counsel and managing director of Swiss Reinsurance Corporation in Zurich.
Groupama
Groupama Insurances UK has appointed Emmanuel Tessier, pictured left, as its new finance director. He joins from parent company Groupama where he was head of the audit and actuarial department in Paris. Previously he was chief financial officer for Sorema.
Folgate Partnership
The Folgate Partnership has appointed Kevin Brown, pictured left, as mergers & acquisitions executive.
He will concentrate on supporting acquired brokers as they integrate their operations into the Folgate model.
Brown has 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, the first ten as a broker in the north east with Stenhouse (now part of Aon).
He moved to Economic Insurance Company in Newcastle in a sales role and then to the Sittingbourne head office in schemes development before moving to underwriting.
More recently Brown was managing director of MIA General Insurance (part of the Towergate Group) in Stevenage and subsequently chairman of their professional indemnity division.
TIRS
Graham Tomaszko has left Omni Whittington to join TurnStone Insurance & Reinsurance Services (TIRS), a subsidiary of TurnStone Group Holdings as managing director.
He brings a wealth of experience to the group and will concentrate on providing specialist commutation, bad debt recoveries and static claims reserve services to the London and international market.
Intech Solutions
Intech Solutions has appointed Peter Jenkins as sales and marketing director and Stephen Swift as non-executive director.
Jenkins was sales director for PeopleSoft UK and vice president worldwide sales and marketing for Maconomy.
Swift was vice president for Peoplesoft Europe and managing director for Peoplesoft UK and vice president Europe for Dun & Bradstreet Software.

Chase IT Services has appointed Peter Cooper as application developer. Cooper has worked for GEC telecommunications and Dr Solomons.
Joe Blakeney-Edwards has been appointed as project manager. He previously worked for Sherwood International.

Newly appointed partner Lis Shrimpton specialises in personal industry and has been with the firm for three years.
Paul Clarke has been promoted to associate. He is a member of the personal injury team and works on employers' and public liability and road traffic accident matters.

HealthSure has appointed Gavin Lowe as telemarketing supervisor. Previously he was an internal sales assistant at HealthSure.
CII
The CII has appointed Tamsin Mills, pictured left, as the new manager of its Training Advisory Service (TAS).
Mills has 18 years' experience of the general insurance sector both as an underwriter and a broker.
In her most recent role as insurance and membership records manager for the Pre-school Learning Alliance, she was responsible for arranging insurance cover and document issue for over 12,000 member businesses.
She has also been a part-time lecturer for the CII certificate in insurance practice.
