NY judge says case against Hank Greenberg is strong

New York State Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos described the civil case by the New York Attorney General's office against former AIG boss Maurice "Hank" Greenberg as "devastating", Dow Jones reports.

In response to Greenberg’s request for the case to be dismissed the judge said: "Don't hold your breath," saying it would be some time before he issued a decision.

"Mr. (David) Ellenhorn has put together a devastating case, a very strong case," Ramos told David Boies, a lawyer for Greenberg. "And, we both know it." David Ellenhorn is a lawyer from the attorney general's office.
