Lloyd's broker Gresham Insurance Brokers has acquired the ongoing business of specialist property-underwriter UKI Commercial Underwriting.
The deal means UKI's brokers will have the facility, through Gresham, to place risks into the Lloyd's and London Markets.
All UKI staff will transfer to Gresham's underwriting division in Dartford, Kent.
Gresham's managing director John Collier said: "UKI can be merged seamlessly with Gresham's operations making this a prudent move for us. UKI has a solid book of business and excellent relationships with its existing panel of brokers, which we will be looking to build on for the future."
