Guy Carpenter has announced a major shake-up of its executive leadership teams in North America, the UK and Europe, effective immediately.

David Priebe will head up Guy Carpenter's Global Specialty Operations, based in New York, overseeing the firm's 16 specialty practices, Instrat modeling and actuarial unit, and the business development unit.

Previously, president and chief executive of Guy Carpenter & Co Priebe will report to David Spiller, chief executive of Guy Carpenter, LLC.

“Our organization works best when we integrate our local broking capabilities with our
world-class Specialty operations. These leadership changes will enhance our ability to
deliver better solutions for our clients,” said Spiller.

Nick Frankland has been appointed as chief executive of the UK operations, with Andrew Marcell, named chief executive of Continental European operations and head of business development and specialty practices within the UK and Continental European regions.

Michael Handler has been appointed non-executive chairman for Continental Europe. He previously was regional manager of Guy Carpenter's operations in Continental Europe.

Frankland has been with Guy Carpenter since 2004, most recently as deputy CEO of the UK. Marcell, who joined Guy Carpenter in 1990, most recently headed up the firm's worldwide casualty specialty practices. Both will report to Geoffrey Bromley, chairman of Europe and Asia operations.

“With Nick's leadership in the UK and Andrew assuming guidance of our Continental
European operations, we have assembled an outstanding leadership team that will enable us to further build on our considerable strengths and aggressively drive growth across the region,” said Bromley.

Kevin Griffiths replaces Marcell as head of Guy Carpenter's global casualty specialty practices, effective immediately, and will report to Priebe. Brian Hanuschak will assume
Griffiths' role as Eastern region business development leader, while continuing to head Guy Carpenter's alternative risk transfer specialty practice.
