Departing Aviva boss Richard Harvey is heading to Africa to devote himself to charity work.
Harvey, who is to retire from his job as Aviva chief executive in July, said he was keen "to take the gap year I never had."
The 56-year-old will reportedly be joined by his wife, Kay, who has recently acquired a qualification in teaching English as a foreign language.
