Smart & Cook has signed a five-year partnership deal with the HBOS's commercial insurance arm, BOS Commercial Insurance.
Under the deal, Smart & Cook will service leads generated from BOS's corporate banking division, focusing on businesses with a turnover exceeding £1m.
BOS Commercial Insurance's existing relationship with Royal & Sun Alliance servicing customers with a turnover of less than £1m will continue.
Approximately 60 BOS Commercial Insurance staff will transfer to Smart & Cook, which will open a new office in Leeds to accommodate them.
The partnership will begin on 1 January 2005.
