Heath Lambert hoping to exploit Scottish business opportunities

Heath Lambert has added two sales executives; Karen McKay and Ian Simpson to its business development team in Edinburgh.

McKay joins Heath from Insurance Management Group where she was account manager. McKay will target business in the corporate, commercial and SME sectors.

Simpson has joined from UK General Insurance Group. He will be responsible for developing commercial SME business and client portfolios across Scotland.

McKay said: “I am pleased to have joined such a dynamic team and it is clear there is a great opportunity to secure new clients across Scotland.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
