Leeds-based broker reveals 2011 acquisition plans

Henderson Insurance Brokers has posted an 11% rise in pre-tax profit to £1.84m in its annual results for the year ending 30th April 2010, Insurance Times reveals this week.

Chief executive Joe Henderson said the company is close to sealing two strategic bolt-on acquisitions and is also preparing a “large acquisition” in the next six to nine months.

The Leeds-based broker's revenue rose 12% on the previous year to £17.4m and the broker’s operating profit was £1.76m, up 52%.
