Broker-only motor insurer Highway has launched a screen-driven commercial vehicle product called Highway CV Choice.
The product replaces all other Highway screen-based commercial vehicle products, with renewals invited immediately.
The change followed Highway's streamlining of its screen-based private car policies into a single product last year.
Underwriting director Chris Hill said Highway wanted to reduce time and administrative costs for brokers and itself.
Highway is currently working with Misys and SSP to deliver the product via full-cycle EDI from February.
Hill said other software houses would follow in the near future.
The product is offered on 11% commission, with a budget version of the product available at a lower premium in return for commission of 7.5%.
Highway plans to write up to £315m in business this year.
