UK's largest lettings agent extends contract for further three years.

Homelet, the UK’s largest specialist insurance provider for the lettings industry has inked an exclusive three-year deal with Martin & Co, the UK’s largest residential lettings agent.

The move means the Martin & Co. becomes is now HomeLet’s largest client. Homelet is part of Barbon Insurance Group, formerly Erinaceous Insurance Services.

Ian Wilson, managing director of Martin & Co, said: “In times of uncertainty it’s good to have business partners you can rely on.”

“A three-year deal allows our franchises to budget and gives them some great incentives to increase business volumes."

Barbon plans to develop new engineering and property owners’ products.

Wilson added he had "no qualms about making a commitment with Homelet", given the more secure footing on which the business now stands.

Marie Scott, head of Principal Accounts at Homelet said: “Martin & Co franchisees benefit from HomeLet’s dedicated business development services. Their offices have access to immediate over-the-phone or face-to-face support as and when required, wherever they are in the country, from Truro to Cardiff to Aberdeen.”

With over 134 franchised offices trading and another 12 preparing to launch, Martin & Co. has announced seven new franchise applications in May. Group revenues are up by over half year on year.
